What BOOM! was saving for Comic-Con, however, was the look and design of the new Green Ranger, who will appear in Mighty Morphin #1. (Yes, that's two separate book titles.) The relaunch will also feature a seventh Power Ranger, a totally new Green Ranger whose identity is currently not known. The panel included a dive into what Comic Book Resources previously reported: BOOM! Studios is ending its two Power Rangers comics, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Go Go Power Rangers, to relaunch with two new titles: Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers. ![]() The panel was hosted by Erin Cahill, who starred as Jen the Pink Ranger in 2001's Power Rangers Time Force. ![]() What Happened? - On Saturday of the 2020 iteration of the annual San Diego Comic-Con, comic book publisher BOOM! Studios held a panel previewing what's to come in the future of its popular Power Rangers comic book series. What's more: This new Green Ranger has two unconfirmed but very obvious Easter eggs that recall various eras of Power Rangers lore. The Powers Rangers’ ultimate Megazord is the combo fans have waited thirty years to see, and it is just as awesome as anyone could have ever imagined.Attention '90s kids: A totally new Green Ranger who isn't Tommy Oliver is joining the Power Rangers in an upcoming relaunch of the popular comics from BOOM! Studios. The Green and White Rangers take some time to get their footing with this new Megazord, but once they do, they prove it was an incredibly powerful asset to the team, and much to fans' delight, they will assuredly want to use the power combo again in the not too distant future. Now that the Dragonzord and White Tigerzord have merged to become the White Tiger Dragonzord, the door has been left wide open for that combo to happen again in the future. Now, thanks to Matthew Cook for picking up the Green Ranger mantle, this long-awaited combination finally became possible. He then abandoned that Zord for the White Tigerzord when he became the White Ranger. Tommy Oliver was originally the Green Ranger and the first user of the Dragonzord. The reason it has taken so long for these two Zords to combine into the White Tiger Dragonzord is because the two Zords needed to create this perfect combo were used by the same Ranger at different points in time and had never intersected until now. This shows that this combo isn't just a fan service to long-time Power Rangers fans, but also an incredibly useful addition to the team. In the end, the White Tiger Dragonzord proves itself to be incredibly powerful while fighting the Elterians, as it is able to eventually destroy one of the alien invaders’ Empyreal assailants. The more experienced Tommy Oliver has to coach the new Green Ranger, Matthew Cook, in how to properly operate the Megazord by teaching him how to channel his feelings through the Power Grid and truly merge with the Megazord in order to properly control it. The wait is over as this issue sees the Dragonzord and White Tigerzord join together to become the White Tiger Dragonzord, and it does not disappoint. Upon the merging it does take some time for the Green and White Rangers to get fully in sync while battling the intergalactic threat. Since they were both used by the same fan-favorite Ranger, Power Rangers fans have always wondered what Tommy’s two Zords would look like if they merged into one. ![]() ![]() Tommy Oliver’s Green Ranger introduced fans to the Dragonzord, and when he became the White Ranger his Zord became the White Tigerzord. While the Rangers answer the attack with their Megazords, the Elterians launch their own threateningly giant fighters to combat the Megazords. In Power Rangers #15 by Ryan Parrott, Francesco Mortarino, and Marco Renna, the Eltarian race have invaded Earth and have launched a full-scale attack on the Power Rangers.
